Rules of entry

  • The competition opens on 30 March 2012 and closes on the dates listed below. Winners will be notified one week after the competition closes in the relevant region.
    • Hawke’s Bay and the West Coast 15 June 2012
    • Rest of the South Island 19 October 2012
    • Lower North Island and East Cape 22 March 2013
    • Upper North Island 24 May 2013.
  • The competition is open to not-for-profit New Zealand community organisations.
  • Each winning not-for-profit organisation will receive one appropriate set-top box and UHF aerial or satellite dish if necessary (as determined by Hills SignalMaster). The equipment will be installed by Hills SignalMaster to an existing television.
  • Entries must be received by the relevant closing date and include the entrant’s name, address and telephone number, plus a description in 50 words of why your not-for-profit organisation wants support to go digital.
  • The number of winners per region will be allocated at the sole discretion of Going Digital.
  • Going Digital’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Going Digital reserves the right to determine eligibility, including whether an organisation is  not-for-profit.
  • The winners will be required to take part in post competition publicity and photographs. This is a condition of all entries.
  • Going Digital will keep contact data confidential.
  • Employees of the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and Hills Holdings NZ Limited, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Note: Hills SignalMaster is the trading name of Hills Holdings NZ Limited.
  • By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
